Basic Qualifications

  • 4+ years of professional industry experience with software development

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent coursework

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Strong coding abilities and experience in a suitable programming language for rapid prototyping, like Python, JavaScript

  • Experience with coding/creating solutions from scratch and modifying existing code/solutions

  • Strong skills in API definition and method implementation

  • Experience working in automation/orchestration frameworks and tools such as Ansible

  • Strong knowledge in core infrastructure domains (networking, compute & virtualization, storage)

  • Knowledge in multiple Linux distributions, Windows operating systems, including patch distribution and configuration management

  • Understanding cloud-based services and the infrastructure supporting them

  • Thrives in the act of discovery, identifying problem spaces and opportunities for innovation, asking the right questions and communicating effectively with stakeholders

  • Ability to assess current capabilities across our technology stack, using them where necessary without rebuilding perfectly good wheels

  • Ability to provide technical oversight and guidance to partners & stakeholders on your projects and implementations

  • A relentless customer-first mindset and a collaborative nature

  • Experience with analytics tools and how to use data to drive your decision making

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment

  • Strong research & experimentation skills

  • Strong self-accountability and task management skills

Nice To Have

  • Experience working with OpenStack

  • Experience with React

  • Experience in configuring/deploying, IaaS, SaaS and PaaS services

  • Skills in metric and telemetry definition and dashboard creation
