Starbucks Coffee Company senior manager, Communications & Change Management, Store Development - Seattle, WA in Seattle, Washington

Business Requirements - Providing functional expertise and executing functional responsibilities:

  • Identifies Store Development business needs for communications and brand guardrails and changes to plans as related to overall communications.

  • Identifies and communicates risk areas and emerging trends through research and benchmarking and develops recommendations to senior management. Trains teams on best practices in the space of communications and change management.

  • Identifies trends and gaps with existing communications systems and processes. Identifies opportunities and proposes improvements to processes, standards and systems.

Partner Development & Team Building - Providing partners with coaching, feedback, and developmental opportunities and building effective teams:

  • Challenges and inspires partners to achieve business results.

  • Conducts and ensures the completion of performance reviews.

  • Develops teams and partnerships aligned with Starbucks guiding principles. Ensures partners adhere to legal and operational compliance requirements.

  • Manages staff, including assigning priorities to workload, identifying long-term professional development and advocating needs of the group.

  • Oversees training and development of partners directly and indirectly managed and makes effective staffing decisions.

  • Provides coaching, direction and leadership support to team members in order to achieve partner, business and customer results.
