Summary of Experience

  • Accounting or tax experience in public accounting or private industry (1-2 years)

  • Familiar with federal and state income tax issues(1-2 years)

  • Familiar with accounting systems and processes(1-2 years)

  • Certified public accountant, chartered accountant, or licensed attorney preferred

  • Undergraduate in accounting, finance or business related field preferred

  • Master in taxation or JD with LLM in tax preferred

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; organized and attentive to details; ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines

  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with peers across the finance organization

  • Proficient with tax reporting software (OneSource, Longview experience preferred)

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically MS Excel

  • Motivated team member with a desire to advance their tax skillset

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolves issues independently and as a team
