Summary of Experience

  • Production support, system maintenance, upgrades, and enhancement delivery supporting financial systems and applications in a retail environment (2-3 years)

  • Working with process owners and identifying information technology solutions that enable business process improvements (2 years)

  • End user support and documentation experience (2 years)

  • Experience with excel reporting with vba (1-2 years)

  • Experience with ETL tools (1-2 years)

  • Development/support experience with any MDM tools such as DRM is a plus (1-2 year)

  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Knowledge of basic project management framework and methodology

  • Ability to quickly learn new application systems, technologies and business processes

  • Ability to accurately estimate design and development timelines for application components

  • Proficiency scripting with vba, SQL scripting.

  • Experience creating data flow diagrams with visio

  • Good understanding of data sources and Financial processes and its relevance to planning and budgeting to resolve business problems.

  • Advanced reporting skills such as report development, SQL Query development

  • Ability to define and execute appropriate test scenarios to validate system solutions

  • Experience working with systems that handle sensitive, business critical data

  • Experience with Oracle Relational Database experience

  • Experience working on and scripting in Windows and Unix/Linux platforms.
